I read somewhere how Bobby Kennedy was never that physically imposing an athlete, but his touch football teams always won. I’m no jock, but I have played on a high-school championship touch football team albeit, against teams which included Michael Beschloss who I bet, signed on mainly to be ready should he someday find himself at some gathering of Kennedys where there is a football and a few hundred feet of lawn. I once led a mixed team of Americans and Japanese against a bunch of American submariners.
